Spring through early fall is ideal, but sod can be installed nearly year-round in North Texas with the right watering. We’ll tell you honestly if waiting a few weeks will give you a better result.
We prepare it. On Blackland clay, soil prep and grading are the difference between a lawn that roots in and one that fails. We remove the old turf, correct drainage, and amend the surface before any sod goes down.
Stay off it for about two weeks while roots take hold, then it’s ready for normal use. We give you a 30-day watering and first-mow plan so it establishes fully.
